Established in 2020, Effleurage is a professional beauty salon specialising in nails, waxing, and Medik8 facials. Founded by Charlotte, a fully qualified beauty therapist trained at the prestigious Lillian Maund Private Beauty School, Effleurage is built on a passion for delivering high-quality treatments in a calm, welcoming environment.

The name Effleurage is taken from a classic massage technique—derived from the French word meaning "to skim" or "to lightly touch." It refers to soft, gliding strokes used to relax the body and improve circulation. This gentle approach reflects our philosophy: carefully curated treatments with a light touch that makes a lasting impact.

After years of dedicated client care, Charlotte proudly opened Effleurage's first salon in October 2025, creating a space where beauty and wellbeing come together.

Hi, I'm Charlotte - the proud owner of Effleurage.

With over 6 years of experience in the beauty industry, I'm passionate about helping clients feel confident and cared for. I trained at the renowned Lillian Maund Private Beauty School and hold qualifications in Level 2, 3 and 4 Beauty Therapy.

At Effleurage, I combine expertise with a personal touch to deliver high-quality treatments tailored to you.

Hi, I'm Lydia - one of the beauty therapists here at Effleurage.

I've had a passion for beauty therapy from a young age. After studying Physiology and Counselling at university, I decided to follow my heart and train as a beauty therapist to fully indulge in my love for self-care and wellbeing.

My focus is to create a space where clients can truly relax, unwind, and recharge—whether that's through a calming massage or a gorgeous new set of nails!
